Welcome to my personal web page. I am one of the three Councillors elected to serve the St Thomas's Ward. I was elected in May 2006 but had served on the Council previously from 1996-2004 and I was Mayor of Dudley during the 2015/16 municipal year.
My role has two distinct parts. Firstly to represent the interests primarily of the residents of St Thomas's also the wider population of Dudley when serving on Council Committees. Secondly to support and encourage community groups. My belief is that it is vital more people become involved in 'community politics'. I endeavour to attend tenants and residents groups, friends of parks groups and community association meetings whenever possible.
I am Vice-Chair of the Audit and Standards Committee and serve on full Council meetings, the Overview and Scrutiny Management Board and the Castle and Priory, St James's and St Thomas's Community Forum. My major interests are housing, environment and health.
I hope you will find my website useful and please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.
