Dudley Councillors Online

HomeLabourCllr Bryan Cotterill
Councillor Bryan Cotterill

Welcome to my personal web page.  I am one of three Councillors for the Quarry Bank and Dudley Wood Ward, which covers Quarry Bank (the park side of Thorns Road), Saltwells and Dudley Wood.  I have been a Councillor since 1999.

My role is to represent the interests of my ward and my constituents.  I try to respond to all constituents’ enquiries fairly and impartially.  I work to represent the views of local people on the Council and serve on the Central Dudley Area Committee, Licensing and Safety Committee and the Tree Preservation Orders Committee.  I am also Vice Chairman of the Community Safety and Community Services Select Committee.  My prime interests include law and order, health, planning/environment, housing, social services issues and the provision for young people.

I play an active role in the community by serving on the governing body of Quarry Bank Primary School, Quarry Bank Community Centre, Friends of Stevens Park, Dunns Bank Neighbourhood Watch and attending Saltwells Residents and Tenants meetings.  I am a member of Dudley Area Housing Panel and Chairman of Dudley Ring and Ride.  The Council has appointed me to serve as one of its representatives on West Midlands Passenger Transport Authority.

I hope you find my web site useful and please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like any further information.
