Welcome. I am one of three Conservative Councillors for the Wordsley Ward which covers the areas of Wordsley and High Acres and I was elected in May, 2006, after having previously represented Kingswinford South some years ago. My role is to represent the interests of the Ward and my constituents. I try to respond to all constituents' enquiries fairly and impartially without reference to any political affiliations. I represent all the constituents of the Wordsley Ward not just those who may have voted for me.
I work to represent the views of local people on the Council and also serve on the Brierley Hill Area Committee. I am Chairman of the Select Committee on Children's Services and also serve on the Select Committee on Community Safety and Community Services and the Licensing and Safety Committee. I have been for many years Chairman of the Governors at the Crestwood School and more recently Chairman of the Campus 21 Management Committee which deals with campus wide issues at Crestwood, Bromley Hills and the Brier Schools.
I am also a Council representative on the Dingle Community Association and the Wordsley Community Association. My particular interests are Education, having served for over 20 years as Head of a Comprehensive School, health issues and law and order, having served for over 30 years as a magistrate.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like any further information.
