Welcome to my personal web page.  I am one of the three Councillors for the Gornal ward, which covers the areas of Lower Gornal, Gornal Wood, a small part of Upper Gornal and the Straits.  I was first elected a Councillor for this Ward in 1987. I was the Mayor of Dudley (2007-08), having served as Deputy Mayor in 2006-07.

 

My role as a Councillor is to represent the interests of the Ward, my constituents and the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley.  My intention is to respond to all contituents' inquiries fairly and impartially.  My intentions are to represent the views of local people within the Council.  I am a member of the North Dudley Area Committee, the Select Committee on Regeneration, Culture & Adult Education, Select Committee on Children's Services and the Select Committee on Environment.  I have a good working knowledge of all the various Council departments.  I have been for almost 20 years a Governor of Roberts Primary School.
